At Campbelltown City HEATT (Houghton and East Adelaide Table Tennis), we proudly partake in and host a number of external and internal tournaments, which cater to players of all abilities.
External Competitions
TTSA Winter Pennant (Monday/Tuesday Nights)
The premier table tennis competition in South Australia, the winter pennant has a storied history in the state. All the major clubs in Adelaide battle it out in a team based (typically teams of 3 or 4) competition spanning across 11 different divisions.
The pennant runs from April - September each year on Monday or Tuesday nights (depends on which division you play) from 7.30pm onwards.
In 2025, HEATT were premiers in Division 1, 5, 6, 7 and were awarded the TTSA Top Club Award.
Note: to play in this competition, players must be full members of the club as well as pay TTSA registration/competition fees.

NEHTTA Summer/Winter (Wednesday Nights)
HEATT members also have the opportunity partake in North East Hills Table Tennis Association's Wednesday night competition.
This is another fun, social and competitive team based competition (includes doubles unlike TTSA Pennant) that is particularly popular for those located in the North Eastern Metropolitan region of Adelaide.

Smash Hit Juniors (Tuesday Nights)
Smash Hit is a 12 week junior programme of regular weekly competition against players of similar ability. The programme caters for junior players of all standards and is run by Table Tennis South Australia (TTSA)
It is designed to be an introductory competition for juniors and to offer particpants a pathway in the sport of table tennis. It is also a fun and exciting competition.
The competition commences each year in late October, has a break over the Christmas holiday period and resumes in early February finishing in mid March.

TTSA Tournaments
Throughout the year, Table Tennis South Australia run a number of tournaments that are widely popular amongst the table tennis community. These tournaments typically run for a day or two and range from junior, open, veteran and rating specific tournaments. HEATT members are always well represented in these tournaments and are encouraged to take part.
In 2025, the SA State Open Men's Winner was HEATT member, Luke Chen.

Internal Competitions
Internal competietions run by HEATT include our popular Spring/Summer competitions (Thursday nights) which are team based and include singles and doubles. Both Spring and Summer competitions are popular amongst members and allow access to a fun, social yet competitive playing environment. Due to popular demand, these competitions are currently only available to members. See the individual pages under the 'Competitions' tab for more information.
2025 also saw the return of our Closed Club Tournament. Held over two Thursday nights, we saw over 60 club members take part in a variety of events including open, junior, aged and graded events. Food, drinks and music was provided on both nights and the event was a great success for the club and we hope to continue it in the years to come.
