On 21 Nov 2025, Consumer and Business Services approved the
amalgamation of East Adelaide Club and Houghton Club to form
and incorporate the Houghton and East Adelaide Table Tennis
Club.  The club is incorporated in accordance with section
22(4) of the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 (SA).

East Adelaide Table Tennis Club was originally established
in March 2002, taking part in the TTSA winter pennant
season. The activities expanded to include multiple practice
sessions, coaching, spring and summer competitions, and
three weekday social sessions.

Houghton Table Tennis Club has existed at least since 1959,
being a strong constituent of the North East Hills Table
Tennis Association (NEHTTA).
